Real Fake Clouds 3D
Real Fake Dynamic 3D Clouds..its pretty much the same as previous cloud test, except that this one is in 3D.
If the clouds are low enough, they can hide mountains inside them too (its just too transparent right now..see image #2)
Features:
– Clouds are affected by lights just like other 3D objects (in the image I used 3 direction lights, 1 for terrain, 1 for bottom of the clouds, 1 for tops.. not really needed if you want the lower parts to be darker)
– Animated clouds (see the previous cloud tests)
– Adjustable cloud texture, speed, “turbulence/morphing”
Still todo for v1.0:
– Upper part of the clouds is not visible.. blending mode problem?
– Try also “lite 2D version”, plane with animated cloud..
– Cloud shadows
– Its not very smooth when animated fast..
– ..

Added webplayer.. cloud borders are still bit broken, depth blending is wrong with mountains etc..
