Small post about coming Terrain Tools<\/a> updates (and since its currently in sale at asset store<\/a>, can grab it at discounted price \ud83d\ude42
\n(Also feel free to request new features)<\/p>\n

Some of the new updates:<\/strong>
\n– Extra tool: Splatmap generator from terrain (for quick testing inside Unity, instead of making tree\/grass or other splatmaps in WorldMachine or others)
\n– Quick select between predefined terrain textures maps (saves lots of time when testing, debug textures are included to see where R G B splatmap channels are used)
\n– You can now generate terrain without grass & treemaps (only height & splatmap is required)
\n– Advanced options: Load normals automatically or not (for terrain textures)
\n– Advanced options: Set texturing tiling size
\n– Updated to Unity 5.1
\n– Applying platmap now uses changed textures (no need to regenerate terrain)
\n– Include script to allow setting terrain detail renderdistance in editor over the 250 limit
\n– Several fixes & changes (including some code cleanup & variable renaming)
