Testing clouds with particles (after seeing this: “Clouds – mr.doob<\/a>“)<\/p>\n

If you look at the source, it seems they are using 8000 planes and custom shader (should be easy to port in unity..)
\nProblem with particles is that they start to turn near camera, as they are facing camera..so you cannot fly inside them..(might work using mesh plane particles?)<\/p>\n

Current features:<\/strong>
\n– Shuriken particles (150)
\n– Custom 1 cloud image as texture (from here: cloud brushes<\/a>)
\n– Cloud shader: Particles\/VertexLit Blended
\n– Background plane with gradient image
\n– “Reversed” linear fog, gives interesting effect that far away clouds are brighter..<\/p>\n
