Terrain test (2)

New terrain test (looks better than the old terrain test).

Still problems creating a splatmap in world machine (it becomes overbright >1),
havent found any tutorial how to do it automatically in wm2 – searched the whole internet (twice).

This version almost works, some color errors if basemap distance is low..
Hand copy-pasted separate R, G, B layers together and set alpha channel to black.

Using unity4 normal mapped terrain shader and terrain textures from ATS free colormap terrain shader.
(Also SplatMap importer comes with that package)

Progress:
– Partial success: Added code to clamp the RGBA values inside the SplatMap script..atleast no more >1 values
– More success: Created custom editor script for better splatmap importing, works ok so far, mixing needs adjusting.. (see image#3)

TODO:
– Add some rocks, trees, grass..
